✅ Verification of Conditions

📧 Notification to DNC
Upon granting or withholding permission, the local authority notifies the Dutch National Council of the candidate's application, including their decision and the candidate's motivation.

🔍 DNC Verification
The Dutch National Council conducts a comprehensive check to ensure all prerequisites have been fulfilled. This includes confirming the candidate's spiritual practices and qualifications.

⏰ Objection Period
A formal objection period commences from the date of email sent to the Dutch National Council. This allows time for any concerns or objections to be raised.

📄 DNC Recommendation
If no objections are raised, the Dutch National Council can recommend the candidate for Hari-nama initiation by issuing a recommendation letter to the chosen guru. Only the DNC is authorized to issue such letters.

🕉️ Initiation by Guru
The guru makes the final decision on whether to grant Hari-nama initiation. The actual initiation ceremony may only take place after a minimum six-month period from when shelter was taken and the local temple president was notified.
